Have you ever heard of "Beauty and the Beast"? Well, I'm the Beauty and I found my Beast!!!

Every day when I go on my walk, we take a stroll by Bear's back window. If I'm lucky, I get a sight of that handsome dog. My people have no idea what kind of dog he is, but that's because he is probably a former pound puppy like me. He is so handsome - shaggy, black, brown, and looks a little like a male Lassie with fluffy hair. I love that handsome Beast!

Yesterday, I walked by his window and I stopped, hoping to get a glimpse of him. It's the best part of my walk! He peeked out and started yelling, "Hey, Pippa, how are you? You look nice today!" I yelled back, "Thanks, Bear. You look very dapper in that sexy collar!" My people just think we bark at each other. They don't understand dog talk.

Every now and then, I happen to be walking when Bear is out walking. Since his people and my people don't understand dog talk, when we bark at each other, they immediately pull us away from each other. We are like Romeo and Juliet. Maybe someday our people will let us meet in person. This little pound puppy can only hope.
